TERMS & CONDITIONS
Gilded Crane LLC is a stationery design studio based in Sacramento, California. These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of gildedcranepaper.com and to general inquiries regarding our services. Individual projects are also governed by the proposal, contract, invoice, and other terms provided for that commission.
1. SERVICES & INQUIRIES
Gilded Crane provides custom and semi-custom stationery and paper goods for weddings, celebrations, announcements, and other events.
Submitting an inquiry does not reserve a project date or create a client relationship. Projects are accepted based on availability, scope, timing, and production requirements.
A project is considered booked only after the booking requirements stated in your proposal or contract have been completed.
2. PRICING & PROPOSALS
Pricing shown on gildedcranepaper.com is intended as general guidance.
Project pricing may vary depending on quantity, paper and envelope selections, printing method, finishes and embellishments, assembly or mailing services, postage, shipping, delivery, and other project-specific requirements.
Proposals and estimates are based on the information available when they are prepared. Changes to quantities, materials, printing methods, finishes, or project scope may result in revised pricing.
3. PROOFS & CLIENT APPROVAL
Clients are responsible for reviewing all proofs carefully before approving a project for production, including names, spelling, dates, times, addresses, venue information, wording, quantities, guest information, and other project-specific details.
Once a final proof has been approved and production has begun, changes may not be possible.
Any project-specific revision, approval, reprint, or production terms will be stated in the applicable client agreement.
4. MATERIALS & PRINTING
Stationery is a physical product, and some variation is a natural part of the printing and production process.
Colors displayed on a computer, phone, or tablet may differ from printed colors. Paper, ink, letterpress impressions, foil, ribbon, wax seals, handmade materials, and other components may also have slight variations from piece to piece.
Materials are subject to supplier availability. If a selected paper, envelope, ribbon, embellishment, or other material becomes unavailable, we may recommend an appropriate alternative.
5. CUSTOM & PERSONALIZED WORK
Gilded Crane projects are created specifically for an individual client and event.
Because custom and personalized stationery cannot generally be resold, completed custom work is not returnable or refundable due to a change of mind.
Cancellation, refund, and payment terms for commissioned projects are addressed in the applicable client agreement.
6. PRODUCTION, SHIPPING, & DELIVERY
Production and delivery timelines are estimates unless otherwise stated in writing.
Timelines may be affected by client response and approval times, printer or production schedules, material availability, shipping or postal delays, or circumstances outside Gilded Crane’s reasonable control.
Clients are responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping and mailing information.
Project-specific production, shipping, mailing, and delivery terms will be included in the applicable client agreement.
7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Unless otherwise stated, designs, artwork, photographs, graphics, logos, text, layouts, and other creative materials appearing on gildedcranepaper.com are owned by or licensed to Gilded Crane LLC.
These materials may not be copied, reproduced, modified, sold, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without permission.
Viewing a design in our portfolio does not grant permission to reproduce, trace, manufacture, or adapt that design.
Ownership and permitted use of artwork created for a specific client project are governed by the applicable client agreement.
8. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
We use third-party platforms and vendors to operate the studio and fulfill projects, including services for client management, payment processing, printing, production, and shipping.
Your use of third-party websites or services may also be subject to their own terms and policies.
9. PRIVACY
Information about how we collect and use personal information is available in our Privacy Policy.
10. CLIENT AGREEMENTS
These Terms & Conditions provide general information about how Gilded Crane operates.
Individual projects may be subject to additional terms contained in a proposal, contract, invoice, or other written agreement. If these Terms & Conditions conflict with a signed agreement for a particular project, the signed agreement will control for that project.
